The Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) is the reason the ABCD Building matters more than an ordinary office block. It is the smart-city brain, designed to monitor and manage the city's core systems from one place: water, power, street lighting, surveillance, traffic and environmental sensors. In a fully working smart city, a leak, an outage or a traffic build-up shows up here in real time and is routed to the right response. The size discrepancy we will not hide

The built-up area of the ABCD Building is cited two different ways. One figure, around 14,000 square metres, is attributed to a GIDB Phase-I description. Another, around 36,000 square metres, comes from developer material describing the full building. We flag both rather than pick one, because we cannot confirm from a single primary source which scope is correct. The likeliest explanation is that they measure different things, a first phase versus the completed structure, but until that is verified, quoting either as the definitive size would be overstating our certainty. The exact inauguration date is also not reliably sourced.

Why it matters for the city and for buyers

The ABCD Building is evidence, not decoration. It is one of the clearest counters to the claim that nothing is happening at Dholera, a real, occupied building running real systems in the phase-1 zone. For anyone weighing the region, it signals that the administrative and smart-city machinery exists rather than living only in renders. What it does not do is justify a price premium by itself. A command centre is infrastructure that serves the whole SIR, not a feature of any one plot, and sellers who wave at the ABCD Building as if it lifts a specific parcel's value are stretching.
